The WOA Reunion/60th Anniversary held in  Oakland/Alameda California on October 10-12,2008 was a smashing success with approximately 265 attendees. The weather was perfect and  all events were well attended and very enjoyable.  Out of town attendees stayed at the Oakland Airport Hilton Hotel.  A room adjacent to the Hilton Hotel restaurant held the 60th Anniversary memorabilia displays which were available for viewing from Friday noon until Saturday noon. The 60th Anniversary team from Peachtree City corporate headquarters set up the display and are to be commended for an outstanding showing. Special thanks to Julie Antonelli, Nancy Peppin, Victoria Akinyode, Jennifer Ashmore, Steve Forsyth, San Ireland, Wally Rardon, Michelle Ross, Brenda Valenti, Keith Wigley, and Kim Williams for bringing the reunion and 60th Anniversary all together. The Year 2008 Reunion was held at the Grand View Pavilion in Alameda on Saturday evening from 6 -11 PM. The facility, food and especially the time of fellowship with other WOA employees was very special with attendees from around the country and as far away as Paris France.
